Tommy Schrider [he/him] is an actor and educator who teaches 3rd Year Studio Acting at LIU Brooklyn. He is also an Assistant Professor of Theater at Adelphi University. His credits include War Horse on Broadway, as well as shows at Theater For A New Audience, Red Bull Theater, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Ensemble Studio Theater, Irish Rep, New York Theater Workshop, Keen Company, Classic Stage, PROTOTYPE Festival, Rattlestick Theater, Sheen Center. His regional credits include Yale Rep, South Coast Rep, Huntington, Westport Playhouse, Berkshire Theater Festival, Williamstown, Syracuse Stage, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Hangar Theater, Andrew’s Lane Theater in Dublin. TV: The Americans, POSE, Blacklist, Elementary, The Good Fight, The Enemy Within, Madame Secretary, Medium, Numbers, L&O. Podcasts: Othello, Pericles for Play On/Next Chapter Podcasts. He received the Charles Bowdan Acting Award from New Dramatists. Tommy’s university directing credits include The Harvest, Macbeth, Everybody, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Enemy of the People, and The Adventures of Stacy & Princess. He is a member of the National Alliance of Acting teachers and was awarded The Ron Van Lieu Fellowship for their Teacher Development Program. MFA: NYU Grad Acting. He will be appearing in An American Daughter this summer at Signature Theater.
