Ricardo Vázquez [he/him] is an award winning actor, director, singer, and theater creator. He appeared in the Tony-nominated 2024 Broadway revival of Our Town directed by Kenny Leon. He was also part of the original Broadway cast of The Inheritance, which won the Tony Award for Best Play in 2020. As a theater creator, he was a Playwrights' Center Jerome Many Voices Fellow and, in collaboration with Tony Award winner Robert Rosen (Théâtre de la Jeune Lune), created and toured two solo pieces that celebrate the history of Puerto Rico: Juracán: The Jíbaro and his Three Sons, and Escúchame. He has also appeared in feature films Nina of the Woods, Farmer of the Year, The Public Domain, and Death to Prom. TV credits include The Other Two (HBO), In an Instant (ABC), M@dabout TV, and Evine Live (ShopHQ). In 2013, he received the coveted Twin Cities IVEY Award for his contributions to the theater community. Ricardo has been a guest artist/director/faculty member with The Juilliard School, Trinity College, CUNY Creative Arts Team, The New Group/Long Island University B.F.A Acting Program (LIU), Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS), The Guthrie Theatre/University of Minnesota, Augsburg College, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Z Puppets Rosenschnoz, Teatro del Pueblo, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, and Ten Thousand Things.
