Nick Cianfrogna

Nick Cianfrogna [he/him] is a Brooklyn-based actor and teacher of speech, accents, and voice production and is the author of the upcoming book An American Accent Handbook. He is a graduate of New York University with a BFA in Drama, as well as the Kristin Linklater Voice Centre in Orkney, Scotland, where he became a Designated Linklater Teacher (DLT). Nick has served on the faculties of The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, Columbia University, Long Island University, Molloy College, The New School, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and the NYU program at the Lee Strasberg Institute, where he is currently Head of Voice. Nick specializes in accent acquisition and has coached working professionals across the globe, as well as actors in a variety of theater, film, and television projects, including Emmy winner Ann Dowd (HBO's The Leftovers, Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale), Kathryn Hunter (Vicious), Sydney Chandler (FX's Alien: Earth), Louis Partridge (Netflix's Enola Holmes), and Jimmy Biberi (Ocean's 8).
