Johnna Woods
Studio Coordinator
Production Lab 1-8
Johnna Woods is a military brat who spent much of her childhood growing up in Japan before finishing high school in Indianapolis. Living in different places gave her a love of art, culture, and working with people from all kinds of backgrounds. She earned her BFA in Sculpture and Ceramics from the Herron School of Art and has always enjoyed working in creative spaces where making, learning, and collaboration come together. Johnna began her career at Long Island University in the Visual Art Department, where she taught sculpture and ceramics and served as Studio Manager. Whether she was helping students learn a new technique or keeping the studios running smoothly, she loved being part of the creative process. Today, Johnna is the Studio Coordinator for LIU's BFA in Acting program. She works behind the scenes to support students, faculty, and productions by coordinating rehearsal spaces, managing studios, and helping make sure everything is in place for a successful semester. She enjoys being part of a collaborative environment where creativity can thrive and loves seeing students grow into confident artists. When she's not organizing studios or solving production puzzles, Johnna is happiest helping creative ideas become reality.
